Swallowtail Shawl Done
The Swallowtail Shawl is done. What an enjoyable shawl this was to knit! Had I not been sick in December, I could have easily completed this shawl in one week. Even so, this well written pattern was quick to knit. The color is most true in the detail pictures.
Pattern: Swallowtail Shawl by Evelyn A. Clark, Fall Interweave Knits, 2006
Amount Used: 110 grams/3.85 ounces/480 yards//440 meters
Needles: KnitPicks Options Interchangeable needles, size 7 US (4.5mm)

Wow! Wow! Wow! I hope you are keeping this for your self...
Did you weigh the shawl afterwards? I mean, 110 gms?! I woulda thought it'd be 100 gms or 150 gms, lol.

The shawl is a beauty and you have done it justice with your photography. I can see the purpose of the nupps. The shawl seems to glow with life. I like that colour too -- I did my Cropped Cardi in that yarn. Mmmmm.....

That is a BEAUTIFUL shawl!! I'm in the Evelyn Clark KAL and I think Swallowtail is going to be the next group project. I have some Baby Silk in Aubergine that I want to use - I cannot wait after seeing yours!

Wow, that is so amazing, Trish! (Plus your photography skills are awe-inspiring.) And I complain about garter st shawls...LOL. I will never do this shawl due to the nupps but your shawl is even nicer than EC's own!

Trish, it's absolutely gorgeous! I'm in the EA Clark KAL and I'm hoping this will be the next project. I wouldn't have thought of Baby Cashmere for this but you have me inspired to peek in my stashed yarn :).
