Even Poor Haikus Win
There is a Ravelry group called Fans of SK, meaning Shui Kozinski, a talented designer and friend of Elann. Bets and Benne hosted a Haiku contest for this group, in honor of Shui's birthday. I actually won a prize in the contest, but not for the best Haiku. I got the Speediest Response prize. Just look at that rhinestone zipper! Thanks Benne and Bets! By the way, Bets is a Leapler (is that what you want to be called, Bets?), and she just celebrated her 12th birthday.
Meanwhile, here are some pictures of that other birthday girl, Shui, who not only knits and designs, but is a nature girl, too.

It's Leaple!
Is that all fish to smoke? Wow, yummy!!!

Wow, what great photos! Feeding a skunk?? How does it not spray her? Yikes. And all the fish. Amazing. How does she find time to knit?? ;-D
