Eye Candy Friday - 3/16/12
1/2 hour after a tornado swept through the area yesterday, just to the south of us. I'm not sure if the picture accurately depicts the orange glow to the scene, which permeated the air and sky. Luckily, we just had a thunderstorm with small hail, but Dexter wasn't so lucky.
100 homes were damaged, 1/2 of those severely, but no major injuries or fatalities. It's amazing that no one got hurt. I love my basement.

Eye Candy Friday - 9/17/10
Au Sable River, Hartwick Pines State Park, Grayling, Michigan, USA
Trout fishing and canouing are some of the main attractions on the Au Sable
Hartwick Pines has almost 10,000 acres, including an old growth, 50-acre, virgin pine forest, and is the oldest State Park in the Lower Peninsula.

The kittens turned one year old yesterday.
They celebrated by exploring
And killing some wild game
And generally relaxing all day long
Every day is a birthday for cats
There is something to be learned in that. I have not dropped off the face of the earth. I shall return soon.
